SEG celebrates its 80th year in Denver, the Mile High City. Highlights of this year’s meeting include:
Exhibition Hall - More than 300 exhibiting companies from around the globe will be there with many companies exhibiting for the first time.
Technical Program – With more than 1,130 abstracts received for review, this year’s Technical Program includes 116 diverse sessions. Nine Special Sessions covering a wide variety of topics. (include link here to page on these special sessions)
SEG Forum, “Unconventional Gas: Political and Environmental Challenges and Opportunities”
New geophysical products and services will be introduced at this, including computer software and hardware; seismic acquisition and processing equipment; educational, consulting and project management services; and numerous other innovative products and services
International Showcase - featuring the former Soviet Union and Europe with a focus on balance of technical issues and business challenges experienced in the region.
High Performance Computer Theater – plans are underway to incude a 100-seat HPC Theater on the floor of the exhibit hall. This will feature applications such as: HPC, Visualization, Collaboration, Workflow, and others.
