Yearbook: Published yearly and available only to SEG members, the SEG Yearbook includes a list of the Society's committees, meetings, educational opportunities, awards, publications, historical records, and governance documents. It is published on a DVD-ROM that also includes the previous year's journal articles and it is distributed to all members. Reference Publications: SEG publishes books, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, videos, and slide sets covering the entire spectrum of applied geophysics topics. Summer Research Workshops: Held annually, this workshop examines, clarifies, and promotes research in a wide range of applied geophysics topics. International Meetings: More than 50% of SEG's members live outside the United States, and one of the ways SEG serves them is through a growing international meetings program. Professional Development: Members obtain essential training in geophysics and career-enhancing skills through Continuing Education courses and lecturers at special member prices. SEG offers continuing education courses, SEG/EAGE Distinguished Instructor Short courses, and Distinguished and Honorary Lectures. Networking: SEG meetings and courses provide outstanding opportunities for geoscience professionals to network with their associates in academics and industry. Employment Referral: The SEG Employment Referral site gives members who are seeking new positions the ability to post a brief résumé. AAPG-SEG Group Insurance Program: SEG, in partnership with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, offer health and life insurance coverage to geophysicists both in the United States and abroad.
