Dues structure | |||
The 2004/05 Executive Committee submitted for Council approval a three-tiered dues structure that would more closely match the ability of members to pay SEG dues. The Council unanimously approved the dues structure on 10 October 2004 during the SEG Annual Meeting in Denver, USA. The three-tiered dues structure is based on World Bank country classifications (gross national income per capita): high-income economies (group IV), upper-middle income economies (group III) and low-income/lower-middle economies (groups I and II). Membership dues are based on citizenship or primary work residence; the assessed dues will be whichever rate is higher. If your employer reimburses your dues, or if you are financially able to pay the standard membership dues, please remit dues at the Group IV rate. | |||
