Research Fellow
Position Summary:
Are you a credentialed researcher in the field of exploration geophysics? Curtin's Department of Exploration Geophysics participates in a range of research programs and projects focused on the development and application of geophysical data acquisition technologies. As a Research Fellow you will engage in collaborative research to develop and test new instruments and techniques for borehole and surface geophysical measurement and to devise new applications for existing techniques.
You will need to have a PhD in geophysics or a related field, for example electrical/electronic engineering or physics, or equivalent experience. A record of excellence in research in the design, development, testing or application of geophysical instrumentation is required as demonstrated by publication in scientific journals and listing at internal conferences. The ability to work collaboratively in a multi-institutional research team is essential.
