Andreas Cordsen

Andreas Cordsen has over thirty years of global industry experience and has become a specialist in applying innovative 3D seismic survey design and interpretation approaches to solving exploration and development problems for oil and gas companies around the world. In that capacity, he has played a key role in the discovery of several significant oil and gas pools over many years. While being President and CEO of Geophysical Exploration and Development Corporation (GEDCO), a provider of geophysical software solutions like OMNI 3D (for 3D design) and VISTA (for seismic data processing), he built this company up to the sale to Schlumberger Canada Limited in 2012. Mr. Cordsen is now the Global Business Manager for Solution Design & Modeling at WesternGeco. He is a member of SEG, CSEG, EAGE, and APEGGA.
