Dr. Jack Dvorkin

Jack Dvorkin earned his M.S. in 1974 and Ph.D. in 1980 both in continuum mechanics and both from Moscow University.  Jack joined the Stanford Rock Physics Laboratory in 1989 and has remained there as Senior Research Scientist.  Dr. Dvorkin has authored 130 technical papers, 2 books, and 2 U.S. patents.  He is a member of SEG, SPE, AAPG, and AGU.
