Online presentation libraries

The SEG Distinguished Lecturer Program began in 1951. Since the 1990s, many of these lectures have been recorded. More recently, lectures have been reformatted for online presentation.

The SEG Honorary Lecture Program began in 2006 and is aligned with six geographical regions of the world. Because of Shell's investment in the SEG Foundation, these lectures are recorded for online viewing.

SEG sponsors many meetings each year, and often records sessions of relevance to a broad cross-section of our members and to the science of geophysics.

This feature-length documentary, now available for free online viewing, chronicles the evolution of applied geophysics and the history of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
