The 1^st International SEG/AAPG/EAGE Geosciences Student Conference (IGSC), was held in April 2010 in Bucharest, Romania. The conference was built around the traditional Symposium of Romanian Student Geologists organized yearly for more than 10 years in succession by the AAPG student chapters in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi. The conference gathered many programs conceived for students, most of them with tradition, programs meant to help students guide their careers and expand their horizons.
