Topic: What We Have Learned from the Nagoka Carbon Capture and Storage Project in Japan

Biography: Toshifumi Matsuoka is a professor of geophysics at Kyoto University, researching geophysical prospecting and geoinformatics as applied to investigations of structures of the Earth’s crust. Dr. Matsuoka received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Department of Science and Engineering at the Tokyo University of Science and his Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Tokyo. From 1997 to 1998 he served as SEG Vice-President.
