| Monday, 10 November 2:30 pm When the Fun Stops– Understanding Problem Gambling: Some form of gambling is now legal in 48 states and while most Americans enjoy gambling as a social activity, a growing number are experiencing more harmful effects. Just as some people may abuse or become addicted to drugs or alcohol, a percentage of gamblers find they are unable to limit their behavior to the simple fun of the game. This seminar will provide a basic understanding of the warning signs and impact of problem gambling and give participants information on the resources available for help. Presented by: Nevada Council on Problem Gambling |  Wednesday, 12 November 2:30 pm Gambling and Casinos: A guide through high limit casinos, card counting, surveillance in the casinos, and smart gambling, this seminar is sure to be a hit for the first-time gambler or the pro! |

Hoover Dam/Ethel M Tour—
Due to the high interest level in this spousal tour, we have started a waiting list. If enough participants express interest in this tour, an additional bus will be provided. Please contact Amy Watson to be added to the waiting list.
The Hoover Dam towers 725 feet above the Colorado River, and is one of America’s grandest achievements. You will explore the top of the Dam, viewing the winged statues, historical tributes and spillways. The visitor center offers an outstanding view of the Dam and features a film on the history of the Dam and the Boulder City area. After completing the Hoover Dam Tour, you will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate factory. Learn how the Mars family created and manufactures their handmade, gourmet candy and chocolate. At the conclusion, enjoy a free sample of the delectable delights! (Bags 9”x 12” are allowed into the Hoover Dam Visitor Center, however, all bags and persons must pass through an airport-style security scanner.)

Backstage with girls from the “Jubilee Show”
Enjoy an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fabulous Jubilee Show first hand during this special, insightful, fun-filled luncheon. Jubilee, a critically acclaimed show, is a multi-million-dollar production featuring 
more than 100 dancers and singers. Three of their lead dancers will join our lunch to share questions and answers with the audience about their stage life secrets. Listen as they share a sneak peek first hand insight from their backstage view of the inner workings of a major Las Vegas spectacular, how they got started and where they are going. Watch as the cast members in street clothes transform into glorious showgirls!
