The Hilton Americas will serve as the headquarter hotel in Houston. It is conveniently attached to the George R. Brown Convention Center. All technical sessions and exhibits will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Holiday Inn Express will serve as the International Showcase Headquarter Hotel.

Shuttle
Super Shuttle, located inside George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Houston Hobby airport, offers shuttle services to and from downtown hotels and convention centers. They are offering a special price for SEG attendees from 21 October to 30 October.

Houston Intercontinental Airport to downtown hotels: one way US$21.00.
Houston Hobby Airport to downtown hotels: one way US$17.00.

  • Purchase your shuttle tickets at the airport upon arrival. The ticket counters are located in baggage claim in both airports.

There will be a US$15 service fee collected, per ticket, for all tickets issued through MeetingsWorks Reservations, or any Continental Airlines ticketing facility. This service fee is nonrefundable and applies to all itineraries, one-way or roundtrip. Continental Airlines offers discounts off published fares of 2% to 10% or Zone fares.

Please note: Over the coming months when booking airline travel, travelers may be asked to provide their name as it appears on the government ID they plan to use when traveling. Airlines will also begin asking passengers to provide their date of birth and gender. TSA's goal is for Secure Flight to be fully implemented in early 2010 for all domestic flights and the end of 2010 for all international flights.
