Topic: Data Exchange Standards: The Foundation Stones of Exploration
and Production
Biography: Jill Lewis is currently CEO and managing director at Troika International Ltd., a leader in seismic data manipulation and transcription. Before joining Troika, she worked as director of Tape Technology Ltd (1985–1994). Lewis served as the chair of the Technical Standards Committee from 2006–2009, where she addressed the limitations of the current SEGD formats, providing a platform for recording multicomponent data, extending the format for nonseismic methods and ensuring there was a clear agreement between processing and data management teams. She currently serves on the Global Affairs Committee as a Regional Coordinator for North Europe.
