2014 GSH-SEG Spring Symposium honors
The Geophysical Society of Houston honors SEG Past President Fred Hilterman at the 2014 GSH-SEG Spring Symposium, Rock Physics, Well Log Properties, and Seismic Amplitudes. The event takes place 11-12 March 2014. In addition to a lunch and reception, GSH will also host a Challenge Bowl competition on the first day of the event, and a toast (or roast) of Fred Hilterman during lunch on the second day of the event.
This year’s Symposium will follow the format started in 2013. The program is limited to twelve expert speakers, who were selected and invited by the Technical Program Committee to present material pertinent to the theme of the Symposium over the two-day event. After each speaker’s presentation, a moderated open floor discussion will be held for additional questions and answers, and for attendees to share their related experiences.
