New high-quality 2D multiclient survey 3 January 2011—BOS has signed an agreement with authorities from Senegal, Gambia, AGC, Guinea Bissau, and Guinea Conakry to acquire, process, and promote a new 2D long offset multiclient data set for the purpose of promoting better understanding of the MSGBC Basin. This new 2011 multiclient consists of a high-quality regional program of 15,000 2D km lines from Senegal all the way to Guinea Conakry and has been designed in conjunction with G & G input from Exploration Geosciences Limited. The BOS NWAAM 2D survey will provide a new geophysical data base, unconstrained by National Boundaries thus providing exploration companies with a first chance to gain a unique regional overview of one of Africa's last relatively unexplored shelf areas. The NWAAM survey will encourage current licensees to re-evaluate existing interests in a regional context, as well as discover new exploration leads.
