INOVA's G3i System goes digital

6 May 2013—INOVA Geophysical announced the launch of G3i Digital, a new high-capacity, cable-based land seismic acquisition system that captures high resolution, multicomponent data for enhanced imaging and improved characterization of the subsurface.

G3i Digital features digital multicomponent sensor support, and when combined with G3i NetLink and Shot Pro II Remote Encoder to communicate across obstacle-ridden terrains, provides a flexible cable-based seismic data acquisition system.

 

Spatial Energy and Golden Falcon Technical Services sign agency agreement for the oil and gas, and utilities markets

7 May 2013—Spatial Energy has signed an agency agreement with Golden Falcon Technical Services, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and Jordan) region.

This agreement enables Golden Falcon Technical Services and Spatial Energy to work together to deliver geospatial data and software products and services to the oil and gas and utilities industries in the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC. Rajeev Narayan, senior business manager, Golden Falcon Technical Services, will be the primary representative for Spatial Energy.


Perigon Solutions and Tiandi Energy create a new data management solution

9 May 2013­­­—Tiandi Energy has joined forces with Perigon Solutions to offer a comprehensive data management solution to the E&P industry.

Perigon is the creator of the iPoint product suite, which allows cross-disciplinary teams to access all legacy and new data in the iPoint format without having to spend hours filtering through and converting it. iPoint manages and displays wellbore data at user-defined multiple scales (single or multiwell), combining image and ASCII data intelligently on-screen for correlation and understanding across many disciplines.
