SEG adds Expanded Abstracts to OnePetroThe complete archive of SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts has been added to OnePetro (www.onepetro.org), a multisociety library of petroleum sciences literature operated by the Society of Petroleum Engineers. SEG has become the 15th organization providing content to OnePetro with its contribution of nearly 16,000 expanded abstracts presented at SEG Annual Meetings and International Expositions since 1982. The SEG Expanded Abstracts comprise more than 10 percent of the documents in OnePetro. "OnePetro is a valuable resource for engineers working in oil and gas, and geophysics is playing an increasingly important role in solutions to engineering problems," said Ted Bakamjian, SEG director of publications. "By collocating a large collection of its applied geophysics literature in OnePetro, SEG expects to strengthen the confluence of the sciences." Access to the Technical Program Expanded Abstracts has been provided to current OnePetro subscribers. In addition, the SEG abstracts are available to individuals through OnePetro at the following prices:
SEG continues to offer its Technical Program Expanded Abstracts within the SEG Digital Library (http://library.seg.org) at the same prices to individuals. Institutional subscriptions and SEG member access also are handled through the SEG Digital Library. About SEG SEG Media Relations |
