2012 SEG Middle East DISC reaches 155 professionals across the region

2012 SEG Distinguished Instructor Short Course, conducted from 9-16 December in the Middle East region (UAE, Oman & KSA), was very well received by the geophysicists from national oil companies, service contractors and students. The SEG DISC, now in its 14th year, is presented at over 25 locations each year around the world.

DISC Abu Dhabi held at Le Royal Meridien, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. on 10th December 2012.

The DISC Course in the Middle East was sponsored by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), CGGVeritas, Dhahran Geoscience Society (DGS), Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), and WesternGeco.

The Distinguished Instructor Short Course is the primary course offered by Society of Exploration Geophysicist (SEG) to foster significant and constructive interaction amongst instructor, professionals and students.
