Watch the regional finalists compete for the cash prize on 24 September in the 2nd SEG Challenge Bowl, an international contest testing students’ breadth and depth of knowledge in the field of geoscience. The quiz show format will feature three rounds of intense competition as the contestants attempt to buzz in first with the answers to challenging geoscience questions. Between rounds, recruiters from companies will answer questions about what their company has to offer to new graduates looking for a meaningful career in the earth sciences. The 2007 SEG San Antonio Golf Tournament announces a change in course locations. The golf tournament will now be hosted by Canyon Springs Golf Club, located in north central San Antonio at the edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and resides amidst the original Claussen Homestead. The course change is due to the amount of precipitation that The Quarry Golf Course received in the past few weeks. The Canyon Springs Golf Club is a comparable and beautiful course with rich history and displays its historical past even today. The tournament will take place on Saturday afternoon, 22 September, and will be Four-Man Texas Style Scramble.
