| Houston 2009 Notification for abstract authors After receiving a near-record amount of abstract submissions for this year's Annual Meeting in Houston, USA, the Houston Technical Program Committee has been hard at work. The Technical Program schedule will be finalized in the coming months, and authors should expect to receive notification regarding the status of their abstracts later this month. DL and HL nominations solicited The SEG Distinguished Lecture Committee is soliciting Distinguished Lecturer (DL) nominations for fall 2010 SEG/AAPG DL, and Honorary Lecturer (HL) nominations for Central & South America, Middle East & Africa, and North America regions for 2010. If you would like to submit a nomination(s), complete the DL nomination form and/or the HL nomination form and submit it via e-mail by 31 July. Summer Research Workshop The 2009 Summer Research Workshop, CO2 Sequestration Geophysics, will be held 23-27 August 2009 in Banff, Canada.
