December 2009 TLE

The December issue of TLE has a special section on reservoir modeling constrained by seismic. Also included are a report from the SEG Executive Committee and GEOPHYSICS Bright Spots, which highlights articles in the November–December issue of GEOPHYSICS.

TLE switches to Standard Reference Format
Starting with the January 2010 issue, THE LEADING EDGE will switch its “Suggested readings” citation format to standard reference format. This change will allow authors, readers, and members to take advantage of the rich linking capabilities such as CrossRef that are available on the Internet. Potential authors are asked to review and use the standard reference format listed under “References” on the SEG editor’s Instructions to Authors.

November–December supplement draws papers from industry, academia
The November–December issue of GEOPHYSICS is published with a supplement of 48 papers on seismic imaging and inversion. Papers cover a broad spectrum of topics covering different methodologies and aspects of inversion problems.
