SEG Council narrowly defeats governance-reform proposal

At this year's Annual Meeting, SEG's Council narrowly defeated a proposal to bring reform of the Society's governance structure to a vote of the general active membership.

SEG invites papers on the topic of Subsalt Exploration and Development for publication in the September-October 2011 special section or supplement of Geophysics. The submission deadline is 30 November 2010.

The Leading Edge
The November TLE contains a special section with five articles on reverse time migration. This issue also contains the 2010 Awards Citations and Geophysics Outstanding Reviewers.
