ShaleForum

SEG Shale Gas Technology Forum:
Serving the Society's global membership and promoting innovative technology
In 2010, the People's Republic of China set a national goal to produce 8-12% of its natural gas from shale-gas resources by 2020. In response, SEG assembled more than 300 industry leaders representing seven different countries at this year's SEG Shale Gas Technology Forum, which took place in March in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

EAGE/SEG
Summer Research Workshop 2011
Towards a Full Integration from Geosciences to Reservoir Simulation
The multi-disciplinary integration of geosciences has made a lot of progress in the last decade, but this progress is often limited. This workshop, taking place in Trieste, Italy, 1-2 September 2011, aims to define the state of the art in this integration process. Papers will include topics of reservoir simulation of different scenarios based on different data availability as a validation tool and feedback for further tuning.
View more information about EAGE/SEG SRW 2011.

Summer Research Workshop
Make plans now to attend one of this year's highly anticipated workshops, "Inverting the Reservoir" to be held 26-30 June 2011, in Quebec City, Canada. Registration for this workshop opens next week and is sure to fill up quickly, so don't wait! For more information, visit the meeting website or contact us.
