SEG promotes online collaboration, connection, and knowledge-share through eCommunities
SEG recently rolled out an online tool designed to help those who use the SEG website to stay connected with others in the geophysical community, as well as to provide website users with a huge resource of online, subject-matter specific educational and professional resources. These benefits are available free to SEG members and registered users of the SEG website.
Read more about how you can connect safely and securely with others in the geophysical community.
SEG institutes third-party "whistleblower" policy
In an effort to meet our constant goal to conduct business at the utmost level of integrity, professional standards, and best practices, SEG has taken steps to incorporate a new "whistleblower" reporting mechanism whereby SEG members and vendors may anonymously report to a neutral third party any SEG activity that is perceived as dishonest, unethical, or illegal. Details pertaining to this new "whistleblower" mechanism can be viewed on the SEG website at http://www.seg.org/misc/report_it.
