2011 SEG Election

Monk to become SEG President-elect

David Monk will serve as President-elect of SEG during the 2011-12 term of the Society's Executive Committee. Monk and the other newly elected officers will assume their duties on 22 September after the conclusion of SEG's International Exposition and 81st Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, USA.

The 2011 Technical Program Expanded Abstracts will be available in the SEG Digital Library beginning 9 August 2011.

Global Meeting Abstracts
SEG introduces the Global Meeting Abstracts beginning with abstracts from CPS/SEG Beijing 2009. The abstracts will be available beginning 2 August 2011. Additional abstracts will be available as they are released.

SAGEEP Proceedings
The 2011 Symposium on the Application of Geophysics to Engineering and Environmental Problems (SAGEEP) proceedings are available on the SEG Web site.

eBooks
SEG will begin releasing an additional 30 eBooks to the current selection beginning 9 August 2011. This latest release increases the number of available SEG eBooks to 100+.
