Committee seeks comments for SEGD3.0

The SEG Technical Standards Committee has spent the last six years updating the SEGD format to version SEGD3.0. The revision of the format has been driven at the request of the industry to provide a single acquisition format to enable the recording of data from a range of seismic and nonseismic techniques onto any media. The format provides the opportunity to record data with far greater granularity and is also extensible for extremely complex acquisition configurations.
