  1. What is the digital edition?

    The digital edition is a page-by-page electronic recreation of the print TLE. Its pages are identical to the print version of TLE.

  2. How is the digital edition different from TLE online?

    TLE online allows you to view and download individual articles, while the TLE digital edition is a page-by-page recreation of the entire print version of TLE. It may be viewed online or downloaded.

  3. Do I need any special software or downloads to view the digital edition?

    No, the digital edition is available through your browser using the built-in features of the e-zine platform.

  4. Is the digital edition a benefit of SEG membership?

    Yes. The digital edition of TLE is available without charge to all SEG members.

  5. How do I access the digital edition?

    You can access the digital edition of TLE by selecting Publications, TLE Digital Edition from the homepage menu bar and clicking the Members may click here to view the new TLE Digital Edition link. A link to this page also is available in the left-side navigation bar of all TLE pages.

  6. Do I have to log in to read the digital edition?

    Yes. When you access the link to the digital edition, you will be asked for your standard SEG member login and password.

  7. Can I download the digital edition to read offline?

    Yes. You can download an offline version of the digital edition that can be read without an Internet connection.

  8. Can I print the digital edition?

    Yes. You can print a single page, a range of pages, or the digital edition in its entirety.

  9. Can I share articles from the digital edition?

    Technical articles may be shared only with other individual members authorized to access them. Nontechnical articles may be shared with anyone. A share tool is among the digital edition's features. Non-members can view the complete listing of the Table of Contents as well view article abstracts and purchasing information at www.tleonline.org.

  10. Can nonmember individuals or institutions subscribe to the digital edition?

    Not at this time, although SEG is considering access options for nonmembers and institutions.

  11. How can I be notified when a new digital edition is available?

    Notification of newly available editions is made via the monthly SEG Extra e-newsletter.
