Capitalization guidelines

Ensure you are using a minus sign (−), not a hyphen (-) to indicate negative numbers and subtraction.

Do this: Use lowercase letters, do not italicize P and S, use a minus sign to indicate negative numbers.

Not this: Capital letters are used, P and S are italicized, hyphens are used to indicate negative numbers.
