Reservoir nanomachines pass first feasibility test
Two years ago, Saudi Aramco’s Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Center–Advanced Research Center introduced the concept of reservoir robots, or Resbots, tiny nanorobots less than 1/100th the width of a human hair, that could be deployed like an army in reservoirs through injected water.
