Technical Program

Abstract submission for the 2013 SEG Annual Meeting will begin 6 March 2013. Deadline is 3 April 2013 at 5:00 PM US Central Daylight Time. For more information, view the call for papers.

With more than 1,500 abstracts received for review, the 2012 Technical Program included 116 diverse sessions. Geoscience professionals from all geophysical disciplines and all parts of the world were represented.

The Technical Program will began Monday at 1:30 p.m. and included five Special Sessions and one Special Global Session. Both e-poster (electronic poster) and poster sessions were held in the Shoreline B Exhibit Hall through Wednesday, while 12 oral session rooms ran consecutively through Thursday at noon. Immediately afterward, convention workshops took place in the technical session area on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday.

Post-Convention Workshops
 

The 2012 Las Vegas post-convention workshops took place after the close of the technical sessions on Thursday and continued through Friday. Entry into any or all workshops was provided to attendees by purchase during advance registration.
