The SEG Annual Meeting Technical Program is a world-renowned resource consisting of extensive oral presentations, poster sessions, and e-posters, as well as additional workshops held on the Thursday and Friday after the close of the official Annual Meeting. Expanded abstracts from the SEG Annual Meeting Technical Program are made available to members and attendees during the course of the meeting via the web and on USB thumb drives.
About the Technical Program
With oral presentations in 124 sessions as well as paper and e-poster presentations, this year's program will feature almost 1,000 presentations.
Special Sessions
Special sessions offered during the Technical Program cover a variety of topics, some on an annual basis, others to address current issues.
Post-Convention Workshops
The Technical Program will end on Thursday, 26 September, but the learning and networking will continue with a full two days of workshops.
Interview with the Chair
The 2013 Technical Program Chair is James Schuelke, an SEG committee member and former president of the Geophysical Society of Houston.
