Reservoir Geo-Modeling is at the heart of appraisal and development projects in the Oil and Gas Industry. But before those detailed reservoir-scale models are built, the industry's explorers are laying the foundation for field appraisal by calibrating at large-scale models. At that stage, typically a diverse set of geophysical, petrophysical, and geological data is integrated to identify prospects and to constrain both source rock and reservoir presence and properties. Some of these interdisciplinary workflows can be used at all scales and some are scale-specific.
This workshop will feature techniques and case studies related to geo-modeling at the basin scale and its possible applications to building improved reservoir-scale models. Discussion sessions will be focused on how to benefit from the integration and use at all scales of these technologies and workflows. Key topics will be introduced by formal presentations and then deepened in plenary discussions between the invited speaker panel and the audience.
