Planning to send a pre-show email blast?
When you send your email content, be sure to:
- Provide a thoughtful subject line for your email blast.
- Submit your content to SEG in a Word, text, or standard HTML document.
- Keep all tables in your email blast at 590 pixels wide (or narrower) to ensure undistorted placement of all of your email content.
- If you are providing your content in a Word or text document, supply all images separately, as attachments, at a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
SEG asks for a minimum of three business days to convert your content from concept to creation. We do implement a structured Quality Assurance system that requires both internal sign-off and client approval. SEG will not deploy an email to pre-registered delagates of the 2014 SEG Annual Meeting without the explicit approval of the client company, even if the predetermined deployment date is in danger of passing.
Please note the following key dates:
Tuesday, 30 September, 5:00 p.m. CDT- Last day to submit content for deployments scheduled 5-11 October.
Tuesday, 7 October, 5:00 p.m. CDT - Last day to submit content for deployments scheduled 12-18 October.
Tuesday, 14 October, 5:00 p.m. CDT - Last day to submit content for deployments scheduled 19-25 October. SEG will no longer accept email requests after this date, regardless of deployment capacity.
Terms Conditions, and Technical Guidelines
In order to remain compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, SEG will not provide the email address of any pre-registrered delegate through this promotion.
Please allow a minimum three-business-day turnaround for a given email deployment from the time all materials are received by SEG. Providing materials fewer than three business days before a desired deployment may result in a delayed deployment.
No more than 8 emails will be sent to pre-registered attendees in a single day, and no more than 30 emails will be sent to pre-registered attendees in a single week. SEG will schedule emails on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once SEG meets its weekly capacity for pre-show email blasts, no more orders for that week will be taken. Once the three-week capacity is met, SEG will no longer accept orders for emails. SEG will no longer accept email requests, regardless of deployment capacity, after 5:00 p.m. CDT Tuesday, 14 October 2014.
All emails must be approved by the providing company before a company's email will be deployed. Delays in approval on the part of the providing company may result in a delayed deployment.
If providing code, please exclude CSS, Java, or formats other than HTML.
Emails that are delayed beyond the end of the originally requested week due to the failure of a client company to meet the terms, conditions, and guidelines herein will be held without deployment, and an additional billing will be sent to the company to cover the premium tied to the new deployment week. The email will be deployed once this additional payment is received by SEG. Emails that are delayed beyond 5:00 p.m. CDT, Friday, 24 October due to the failure of a client company to meet the terms, conditions, and guidelines herein will not be deployed, and the company will receive a full refund.
SEG will make every attempt to mirror provided content exactly; however, negligible differences in colors and formatting may occasionally appear. Please contact SEG before the deployment of a purchased email if you feel that the final product does not meet your specifications.
Please submit email content in its entirety as a Word, text, or HTML document. Standard HTML code
will be accepted; other formats (e.g. CSS, Java) will not be guaranteed. All images provided to SEG must be at least 300 dpi.
