Aldo Vesnaver likes research, especially Seismic Tomography, Near Surface and Microseismicity. He served SEG as Honorary Lecturer for Europe and Chairman of Membership and Global Affairs Committees. He served EAGE as Editor-in-Chief of "Geophysical Prospecting" and Research Committee Chairman. He is the President of the Italian EAGE-SEG Section.
