GAC Mission:

The GAC is a professional network of volunteers which links the SEG's leadership, committees, Sections/Associated Societies and affiliated societies. The primary goal of this committee is to ensure, promote and encourage the worldwide scope and diversity in SEG plans, actions and focus. The GAC is committed to the recognition of SEG as a global, influential and valued society for the development of applied geophysics providing services and support to all practitioners.

The Global Affairs Committee has voted to support the following statement:

"The Global Affairs Committee, endorses in principle the proposed bylaws to be voted on in San Antonio Council Meeting, September 2011"
