Welcome to the Field Camp Committee Community!

The SEG FoundationField Camp Committee is responsible for review and selection of all Field Camp awards. The Field Camp program provides critical funding to geophysical projects and field camps that encourage and support educational and scientific activities of benefit to the general public, geophysicists, and the geophysical corporate community.  Geophysical Field Camps combine theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in applied geophysics and are intended as an alternative to traditional geologic field camps for undergraduate students.

The committee is composed of active SEG members and is responsible for annual evaluation of applications, recipient awards recommendations, and donor stewardship.
