Welcome to the Technical Standard Committee Community!
The SEG Technical Standards Committee serves as a forum for discussion of geophysical developments for which standards need to be defined. When problems of significant magnitude to warrant action by SEG are identified, appropriate subcommittees are appointed to develop standards or updates to existing standards and make recommendations to the Executive Committee concerning their adoption. In performing its functions, the Technical Standards Committee collaborates with other standards bodies to develop standards efficiently across organizations and to promote data exchange and application compatibility.

- SEG-D rev 3.0 update - approval of the May 2012 version (includes Measurement block)
- SEG-Y rev 2.0 - presentation of the upcoming functionality
- Presentation of new P1/11 and P2/11 now being published by OGP (will include status of the new P6 Grid definition work)
- Update on the SPS 3.0 work
- Update on the EM standard work
- Reports from the ongoing workgroups (Storage medium recommendations and format recommendation teams).

The meetingroom is available from 13:00 to 17:00.to allow various sub-committeed and workgroups etc. to meet outside the main TSC meeting. Please contact Rune Hagelund if you like to reserve time for a specific topic.
